What is pebble?

Pebble is named because of its shape similar to that of goose eggs. It is formed by the impact of mountain torrents and the squeezing of flowing water. It usually takes tens of thousands of years of evolution. It has the characteristics of non-toxic, odorless, non-fading, compression resistance, wear resistance, and firmness. It is a green raw material in public buildings, ceramics, papermaking, chemical industry, national defense, gardening and other fields, and its industrial value is extremely high.

Pebble processing equipment

Jaw crusher: Pebbles are relatively hard, so jaw crushers are usually used for coarse crushing. They have very strong compressive resistance, a large feed size range, and no dead zone in the crushing chamber, so the output and crushing efficiency are higher.

Cone crusher: This equipment is used for the re-crushing of pebbles. Its maximum feed particle size is 300mm. There is no requirement for hardness. An overload protection device is set up, and the operation process is very safe and stable.

Sand making machine: Sand making machine is a commonly used fine crushing and shaping equipment for pebbles. The finished product is cubic, with perfect particle shape, uniform particle size, reasonable grading, simple operation and maintenance, and good sand making effect.

Sand washing machine: It is used for the cleaning and processing of pebble particles after sand making. During the operation, the loss of fine sand is small, and the water consumption is small, which can save a lot of energy and the cleaning is very thorough.

Other equipment: Pebble processing equipment also includes vibrating feeders, belt conveyors, dust collectors and other devices. These equipment play a very important role in the pebble processing technology.

Pebble processing process

The processing of pebbles usually requires the steps of coarse crushing, medium crushing, fine crushing, sand making and sand washing.

The specific process is as follows:

1. The pebbles are evenly fed into the jaw crusher by the vibrating feeder for coarse crushing.

2. The coarsely crushed pebbles are sent to the cone crusher by the conveyor for medium crushing.

3. The cobblestone materials after medium crushing are screened by the circular vibrating screen. The materials that meet the requirements are sent to the sand making machine for fine crushing and sand making, and the materials that do not meet the requirements are returned to the cone crusher for further crushing.

4. The pebble sand after fine crushing and shaping by the sand making machine enters the sand washing machine for cleaning and mud removal. The cleaned pebble sand is the finished sand we want.
