Limestone, also known as bluestone, is a sedimentary rock mainly composed of calcium carbonate (CaCO₃), usually white, gray or light yellow, and widely distributed in nature. It is mainly formed by the long-term deposition and compaction of the remains of marine organisms such as skeletons and shells, and may also be generated through chemical precipitation. Limestone is an important industrial raw material with the characteristics of easy mining and low processing cost.

Application Areas After Limestone Crushing

After crushing, screening and other processing, limestone can be made into particles of different sizes and is widely used in the following fields:

Concrete aggregate, building stone, artificial sand, cement production, metallurgical industry, glass manufacturing, lime production, fertilizer additives, plastics and coatings, soil conditioners, feed additives, water treatment, rubber and papermaking, accessories and decoration, etc.

The particle size of limestone after crushing determines its use: coarse particles are mostly used in building materials and metallurgy; fine powder is used in chemical industry, agriculture, etc. Its versatility and economy make it an indispensable basic material in the fields of construction, industry and environmental protection.

Production Process

1. The stone enters the Tyre Mobile Jaw Crusher from the feeder for coarse crushing, and the feed does not exceed 600mm.

2. The coarsely crushed material enters the Mobile Impact Crushing Plant for fine crushing and screening.

3. There are three kinds of final products: 0-10mm, 10-20mm, 20-30mm, which can be adjusted according to needs.

This Mobile Stone Crushing Production Line has an hourly output of about 200-300 tons, with many finished product specifications and many types of stones that can be crushed. The selected impact crusher can crush stones with a compressive strength of no more than 350MPa, which is just right for crushing limestone and bluestone.
